What we store, and what we don't.

Who we are

MEQOTIX is a digital systems studio in Prishtinë, Kosovë. For anything on this page, write to info@meqotix.com - the same inbox the contact form reaches.

Analytics: none

This site runs no analytics and loads no third-party tracking scripts. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording. We cannot see who you are, what you clicked or how long you stayed - and nothing here builds a profile of you.

If we ever add a visitor counter, it will be a privacy-first one, and this page will say so before it happens.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies. It keeps one small value in your browser's own storage (localStorage), and it is a setting, not an identifier:

• mqx-theme - whether you chose the light or dark look, so the site opens the way you left it.

The value never leaves your browser, it does not identify you, and clearing your browser data removes it. Because it is a functional setting rather than tracking, no consent banner is required - which is why you did not see one.

The contact form

When you send the form, we receive what you typed: your name, email, message, and - if you filled them in - business name, phone number and what the enquiry is about. That data is used for exactly one purpose: answering you and, if we end up working together, running that engagement. It goes to two places, both ours to control:

• An email to info@meqotix.com, delivered through Resend, our email delivery provider, which processes the message content in order to deliver it.
• Our own client system, run by us, where enquiries are tracked so nothing goes unanswered.

We never sell, rent or share this data with anyone else, and we keep it only as long as the conversation or the working relationship needs. Ask, and we delete it.

Against spam, the form uses a hidden trap field and a rate limit. The rate limit briefly stores a scrambled (hashed) form of your connection's IP address on our server - not the address itself - and it expires within an hour.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the server this site runs on (Hostinger) keeps standard technical access logs: IP address, the page requested, time, and browser type. They exist for security and troubleshooting, are kept for a limited period set by the host, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

Fonts and other requests

The fonts on this site are served from our own domain, not from Google's servers, so viewing the site sends no request to Google. Links out - WhatsApp, Instagram, client sites - lead to services with their own privacy policies, which apply once you are there.

Your rights

Under Kosovo's Law on Protection of Personal Data (No. 06/L-082) - which mirrors the EU's GDPR - you can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. There is not much to hold: unless you wrote to us, the answer is nothing. Either way, one email to info@meqotix.com is enough, and we answer within one working day.
